เครื่องประดับคอลเลคชั่น ABORIGINAL FACET เข้ารอบสุดท้ายโครงการของ DEmark 2018 (Design Excellence Award)

Aboriginal facet is a set of jewelry that transfers the essence of the cultural knowledge of Thai Ikat silk onto a silver plate. This silver is used as a vehicle to create a new story, texture, and sensation of Thai Ikat silk. Distilling and improving some of the old details of Thai silk, the collection combines geometric shapes to create a modern design for a modern women who has an active personality and her own creativity daring them to choose a jewelry set that is infuses a part of tradition into her real present life.

This collection stresses on creating a new pattern under the fundamentals of the old Thai silk. Three basic patterns– including 1.Dok-kaew pattern 2.Nak-chu-son and 3.Mee-bai-pai— Together with Black Spinel, a semi-precious stone from Kanchanaburi were analyzed to create the perfect pattern of this collection.

Aboriginal Facet is a jewelry set that combines a unique functionality with a myriad of ways to wear the set for the enjoyment of the wearer.
There are two main features of the design of this collection:
1. The jewelry is not worn as it would be traditionally. That is to say that a brooch need not be pinned and a necklace need not be secured by a hook. Each hinge has been designed to be part of the entire design and, so, completes the look.
2. Each piece can be worn in multiple ways meaning that each piece can be altered into various designs to be worn on several occasions.
